About the Position
Our units belong to the Department of Sickness Insurance and operate within the area of First Claims. Working in First Claims with us means thriving in a complex organization, where the focus is on making quick and accurate decisions and working based on established processes and guidelines. The role requires you to be quick and proactive, able to work independently, but also to collaborate and communicate well within the team to achieve common goals.
Investigations, Analyses, and Teamwork
As an insurance investigator, you will be responsible for handling applications and making decisions that comply with legislation. You will work towards clearly defined goals where you conduct shorter investigations, calculations, and payments. When necessary, you will contact applicants, employers, or healthcare providers to gather information. You will continuously document the cases.
You will handle many applications each day and follow a clear process supported by guidelines. You are self-driven and actively seek information to move the cases forward. Making legally secure decisions is essential – this means we investigate and decide according to the law and treat everyone equally. You will handle confidential information and need to have good judgment and be security-conscious. You must also be able to communicate and interact well with people.
You will become part of a unit that works together in a fast-paced environment towards common goals. You will regularly discuss the unit's progress and adapt according to the organization's goals and assignments. Together, you will create effective working methods, and you will plan your workday independently to manage the tasks that arise during a workday. As a new employee, you will receive an introductory training and support from your immediate manager, mentor, and specialists.

- acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for results with high quality
- has a systematic approach with a good ability to prioritize work effectively
- can understand and analyze complex issues.
It is advantageous if you
- have experience in investigative work and decision-making that has affected individuals, preferably in a government agency
- have experience working towards goals and results
- have experience working closely with customers to deliver good and effective service
- have good computer skills and experience working with digital tools.

Other Information
10-15 positions, permanent, full-time, starting April 15, 2026. A probationary period may be applicable. Remote work may be possible if the work allows. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
